The Bryton Insurance Agency is an independent insurance agency owned by Chris Arganbright. Bryton Insurance strongly believes in continuing knowledge of the insurance business through education to better serve customer needs and the protection of their assets.
Chris M. Arganbright – CIC
Chris Arganbright was hired for an entry-level position at an insurance agency in West Des Moines. A passion for the insurance industry was ignited and she realized helping customers invest in protection of their property, assets and family was her vocation.
Chris whizzed through the Certified Insurance Counselor designation coursework in 12 months – this normally takes three to five years – and has held the CIC title for more than 28 years. She moved to Panora in 1989 to manage the Panora office for Bryton Companies. Chris quickly integrated into the community and Panora became home.
In 1992, Chris became an owner of what is now Bryton Insurance Agency with both personal and commercial lines of insurance. Her philosophy is simple – exceed the customer’s service expectation at every level, every day. The community of Panora and the surrounding area experiences this philosophy as well as Chris donates hundreds of volunteer hours each year to organizations and causes that strengthen economic development and opportunity for all.
Cindy Carstens
Cindy Carstens is a lifelong resident of Guthrie County and her family roots run deep. Her work ethic and desire for customer satisfaction align perfectly with the service mission of Bryton Insurance Agency.
In 1993, Cindy graduated from the American Institute of Business with an associate degree in Sales and Marketing. She began her insurance career at Preferred Risk, which is now GuideOne, in February 1994. Cindy served in progressive roles in the Personal Lines division, elevating to be a trainer and business analyst. After 24 years, that business line was sold which presented an opportunity for her to pivot in her career and work closer to home.
Cindy joined Bryton Insurance Agency in August 2018 is licensed and serves the agency’s personal line customers with a smile.
Hope Crawford
Born and raised in Panora, Iowa, Hope Crawford brings hometown heart and professional expertise to Bryton Insurance Agency. Her journey into the insurance industry began at Grinnell Mutual, where she spent three years working in Human Resources. During her time there, Hope earned her Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation—a milestone that sparked her passion for helping others protect what matters most.
Hope’s commitment to excellence and personal service aligns perfectly with Bryton Insurance Agency’s mission. Now licensed to sell Life Insurance, she’s proud to serve her community by offering tailored coverage solutions with integrity and care.
